NICOLE Best Research Paper Award
| Application window | from 01 January to 21 April each year |
| Selection and announcement | Selection by 30 April and announcement at the NICOLE Spring Workshop |
| Expectation | - To present the paper and study at the NICOLE Fall Workshop - To become a full NICOLE member after the 1-year free membership expired |

NICOLE Travel Bursary
| Application window | No restriction but application should be at least submit 3 weeks before the conference or workshop is taking place |
| Selection and announcement | On ad’hoc basis Announcement at the NICOLE Spring or Fall Workshops |
| Expectation | - To give an oral presentation at a NICOLE Workshop or relevant conference - To submit a publicly publishable short report (a maximum of 2000 words) on their activities and results from the conference - Become a NICOLE member |
NICOLE Placement Award
| Application window | No restriction but application should be at least submit 4 weeks before the conference or workshop is taking place |
| Selection and announcement | On ad’hoc basis Announcement at the NICOLE Spring or Fall workshops |
| Expectation | - To give an oral presentation at NICOLE Workshop or relevant conference - To submit a publicly publishable short report (a maximum of 2000 words) on their activities and results from the conference - Become a NICOLE member |
NICOLE Master Thesis Placement
| Application window | from 01 January to 21 April each year |
| Selection and announcement | Selection by 30 April and announcement at the Spring workshop |
| Expectation | - Thesis acknowledging NICOLE funding support and made available to NICOLE member - To contribute to the Master award of the applicant - To explore the opportunities to disseminate more widely either via trade journals or peer review paper (to be agreed and confirmed between NICOLE members) - To contribute to NICOLE resources/reports |
